Sweden - Västerås

Located at the northern shore of the Mälar See. Getting There: Getting to Västerås is easy if you are coming from the south. The connections to the north are not equally good. Stockholm-Västerås Airport Ryanair takes you to and from London  Stansted in just a little over two hours. Traffic will be diverted to London Luton from january 19 2005. Tickets are bought at the station, on the train or at www.sj.se . www.tagibergslagen.se SJ Intercity trains Stockholm - Gothenburg pass through Västerås every other hour. Trains to and from Stockholm runs one or two times an hour on week days. Regional trains takes 53 minutes, the intercity takes 59 minutes.
